Cetrac for Aerospace & Defence
Speed, reliability, weight reduction, redundancy, energy consumption are among the most important requirements for network communications in the aerospace industry. CetraC elegantly and efficiently covers all these requirements.
With CetraC, benefit from a lighter, smaller, less power consumption
CetraC handles all the needed protocols and interfaces in only one electronic device improving the IO density. CetraC provides a large set of capabilities, including protocol translation, data aggregation functionality reduce the weight and cost of copper and connectors. CetraC enables smaller, lighter hardware items and reduces the number of cables need in your products.
CetraC is able to encapsulate, translate, aggregate payloads from different sources to only one. As CetraC uses FPGA device, you don not need additional CPU and other electronic components needed
Last but not least, less electronics means smaller hardware items and smaller power supply for increased autonomy.
CetraC reduces the load on the CPU
With CetraC, all protocol management is done by hardware, and not by software. This means you can use cheaper and smaller CPU for the same application.
Using CetraC data aggregation feature, you reduce the management of CPU interruption, and do not need to use multicore complex processors. This reduces the risk on the overall certification of your products.
Gives more CPU power to legacy processor boards
CetraC is safer and natively redundant
CetraC is compliant with aerospace standard (DO-254/ED-80) and system safety objectives. It only used HDL code compliant to DO-254 standard at DAL-A level, no software, no DO-178c.
CetraC includes link redundancy, health monitoring and payload protection mechanism: CRC, ECC, AES-256. With CetraC, you reduces global costs, schedules and risks of aerospace certification, and increased the reliability of your solution.
CetraC’s relevance is proven by our aeronautics references
Cetrac is certified as a flying device:
