Technology Demonstrators and Implementations
Babelya and Domynik are implementations and demonstrators of CetraC that show how CetraC technology can be used to design a multi-protocol switch or an end system. You can use these implementations, or build your own using the CetraC toolkit and resources.
Babelya
Babelya is a multi-protocol switch designed on top of Cetrac technology.
- 802.3 Ethernet protocol : 8 Ethernet ports at 10/100/1000 Mbps
- IEEE 1588v2 protocol : PTP
- System clock distribution : grand-master or client
- Internal clock resolution at 5ns
- ARINC664 Part7 up to 1 Gbps
- Key element of an IMA2G compliant network
- Protocol availability : UDP, TCP, ARP, ICMP
- Supports Unicast, Multicast, Deterministic Broadcast
- Dual link redundancy
- Guaranteed Real Time and QoS
- Filtering on IP, MAC, protocol
- Network topology free through all or CetraC™ compatible devices
- Security features, fault detection and reporting
- Technology compliant with RTCA / DO-254 ED-80 CSPN certification by ANSSI (in prog’ess)
Domynik
Domynik is an End-System, with features such as :
- 100% Hardware protocol handling
- Ethernet IEEE802.3
- ARINC664p7
- IEEE1588 PTP v2
- 2 ports at 1 Gbps
- Bag, jitter, cyclic transmit, ARINC664p7 port redundancy by Hardware
- PCI Express connectivity supporting 4 lanes (x4) at 8 Gbps (Generation 3)
